By car from Newark International Airport:
About 1 ½ hours by car, North of Seaside Heights.
Take the "New Jersey Turnpike," South to Exit #11 and get onto the "Garden
State Parkway," South to Exit #82 (Toms River). Be ready to pay tolls. At
Exit #82 get onto Route #37 East and follow the signs to Seaside Heights.

(The Olympic Airport Shuttle is inexpensive and can be reached at
1-800-822-9797. You need to reserve a spot in the minibus to Toms River
today. Report to the Airport Ground Transportation desk and ask if your
driver can drop you across the bridge from Toms River to your motel in
Seaside Heights. There will be a slight additional charge of course and
tipping of the driver is expected as well.
Ask if this can be arranged when you make your initial call. I have found
them to be very friendly and willing to help. The mini bus is small and it
could be a problem if you bring more luggage than normal. Don't forget to ask
about their special plans like the "Economy Share Ride" to Seaside Heights.)
